Dear gymnastics enthusiasts,
Since the beginning of the year, the new Technical Committee has taken over the tasks and responsibilities, and continues to work hard to deliver the upcoming Gymnastics for All events.
I’m pleased to be able to count on the experience of our Vice-President Emiliana Polini (ITA) and members Ruslan Eyvazov (AZE), Valérie Grandjean (FRA), Agnes Hartmann (GER), Lasse Hauser (NOR) and Marina Maeder (SUI). This team combines a wide variety of skills and competencies, and above all, is passionate about our sport wanting to further develop across Europe. I take this opportunity to thank each and everyone of them for their commitment!
After years of planning, our main focus now is on the delivery the 2026 events. The Italian town of Pistoia is organising the European Gym for Life Challenge and EUROGYM in July while Les Sables d’Olonne in France will host the Golden Age Gym Festival in October. As you can imagine, our hands and heads have been full with these preparations. The Organising Committees in both countries have been working tirelessly to ensure that every participant has an unforgettable experience, with all the conditions in place for a top-tier event.

In just three weeks, the 5th edition of the European Gym for Life Challenge will kick off!
We are delighted to welcome participants of 21 countries to beautiful Pistoia. With its stunning natural beauty, ancient heart, and welcoming community, the Tuscan town will provide the perfect backdrop for this celebration.
These 21 countries will be represented by 138 groups for a total of 3052 gymnasts. Greece is sending by far the biggest delegation: 31 groups with 849 gymnasts. Followed by the host nation Italy with 32 groups and 472 gymnasts, with Germany on its heels with 434 gymnasts across 15 groups.
Split over three days, this event will be filled with energy, talent and passion. The European Gym for Life Challenge has always been about more than just contest; it’s about celebrating teamwork, creativity and the joy of gymnastics.

Immediately after the European Gym for Life Challenge, we move onto the 15th edition of EUROGYM. Our flagship Gymnastics for All festival for teenagers will welcome 3520 gymnasts, in 175 groups, from 20 countries!
Norway leads the way with 506 gymnasts in 32 groups, ahead of France with 458 gymnasts in 24 groups and the host nation Italy with 439 gymnasts in 23 groups. With these amazing numbers, we’re sat for one of the largest and most vibrant EUROGYM editions yet. Your enthusiasm is truly inspiring, and it motivates us to create an unforgettable experience for all of you.
Starting on Sunday 12 July with the Street Parade, Opening Ceremony and Welcome party, we’re in for action-packed days filled workshops, city performances, an educational forum and social activities before officially closing the event on Thursday 16 July with the Gala and farewell party.
About 30 kilometres from the iconic city of Florence, Pistoia is located in the heart of Tuscany. Small, easy to get around, less crowded and less expensive than the more famous destinations, Pistoia is a quiet and welcoming city of art: the ideal destination for us as we focus on promoting the sport of gymnastics and fostering friendship and cultural exchange between young athletes from different countries.

In October, all eyes will be on Les Sables d’Olonne as they host this year’s Golden Age Gym Festival. From 4 to 9 October, the French seaside resort will welcome 1923 participants from 21 countries. Norway is sending by far the biggest team with a whopping 396 gymnasts selected ahead of Czechia’s 213. The home nation France is sending 188 gymnasts and 16 support staff.
We’ll open the festivities on Sunday with the parade and Opening Ceremony. During the following days, the participants can enjoy city orienteering, workshops, tourist excursions and social activities, on top of performing their exercises on the stages throughout the city.
We’re committed to providing the best conditions possible so that you can focus on what matters most: connecting with fellow gymnasts, showcasing your skills, and making lasting memories.
