Applications ‘European Gymnastics Honorary Judge’ - Deadline reminder

European Gymnastics invites its member Federations to nominate their international judges for the award ‘European Gymnastics Honorary Judge’. This award is based on a significant contribution to European Gymnastics as an international official over a long time.

Requirements:

- The award is based on a judgment without FIG sanctions during the designated period.

- The judge must have judged at least one European Gymnastics event in at least three different Olympic cycles.

- ART & RG: the judge must have judged at minimum 6 European Gymnastics events.

- TRA, ACRO, AER, TG: the judge must have judged at minimum 4 European Gymnastics events.

 

Events taken into consideration are:

- European Championships

- European Age Group Competitions*

- European Games

- European Youth Olympic Festival.

*For judges who have judged at both the European Age Group Competitions and the European Championships in one year, this will only count as one European gymnastics event.

We ask our member Federations to submit to the European Gymnastics office on info@europeangymnastics.com the name(s) of their judge(s) deserving this award. The email should include a list of their judging assignments which confirms that the above requirements were fulfilled (copy of the logbook of the judges, copy of the FIG online judges database profile, copy of judges assignment lists of result books). The deadline is 30 October 2024.

After verification by the Sports Coordinator and the TC President, the General Director will submit the request to the Executive Committee for final decision at its meeting in January 2025.
