In 2024, European Gymnastics introduced a new competition format: the European Cup, highlighted by its unique Cross Battles where gymnasts face each other head to head to reach the next round.

Produced by Huxley for European Gymnastics, ‘Chasing Perfection – Inside the Cross Battle’ casts an exclusive, behind the scenes view inside the mental and physical preparation for this intense competition. Follow Italian superstar Sofia Raffaeli and Bulgarian group captain Sofia Ivanova on their quest for glory in the Cross Battles at the 2025 European Cup in Rhythmic Gymnastics in Baku (AZE).
