ECh Sofia 2014 : juniors Appartus Finals - Competition III

This morning is dedicated to the juniors apparatus finals. 1st final on vault, then on uneven bars followed by the beam and finally the floor final.

Excellent day, starting with the juniors, for Great-Britain who will bring 4 titles home with them including 2 gold ones. Russia proves its supremacy as well securing twice the highest step of the podium including the gold medal on beam of the new Junior All-Around European Champion, A. Melnikova. 

Remarkable performances of the Romanian gymnasts and finally two superb bronze medals for Germany.

Ellie Downie (GBR) wins the vault title with 14.633 ahead of Jurca (ROU, 14,383) and Tinkler (GBR, 14,383).

Daria Shkrypnik (RUS) is the new bars champion! She scored 14.833 to beat teammate Angelina Melnikova who scored 14.766. The bronze medal goes to Maike Enderle (GER). Congratulations!

Angelina Melnikova scores 14.575 to win the beam title for Russia! Romania's Andreea Iridon is second with 14.433 and Germany's Alt is third with 14.200.

Great Britain's Catherine Lyons wins the floor title with a score of 14.033! Her teammate Amy Tinkler ties Romania's Andreea Iridon for the silver with 13.966.
