Elena Colas, France reign at #EYOF2025

The Croatian town of Osijek welcomed today the girls competing in their qualification rounds. At stake today: the all-around and team medals, in addition to a place in the apparatus finals!

Top favourite France, the reigning European junior Champion, delivered a stellar performance to cruise to team victory. Represented by Elena Colas, Maiana Prat and Lola Chassat, the French girls amassed a grand total of 106.450. Having the day of their life today was Slovakia, featuring Lucia Piliarova, Nela Ostrihonova, and Lilly Murinova. Spurred on by huge crowd support the girls gave it their all and were rewarded with the silver medal. Italy took the bronze, thank to Sofia Bianchi, Mia Proietti, and Giulia Santinato.

More success came for Colas as she topped the all-around ranking, courtesy of the highest score on beam and floor. With an outstanding score of 53.750, the junior European Champion became the European Youth Olympic Festival Champion, following in the footsteps of Germany's Helen Kevric. Silver went to the incredible Lucia Piliarova (SVK) who impressed overall today and especially on bars where she hit a wonderful set for 13.900. Romania's Alexia Blanaru aced her beam set and her vault to clinch the bronze ahead of Chassat.
