European Gymnastics Union welcomes Bulgaria's positive approach to gymnastics

At a meeting in Sofia with Premier Plamen Oresharski the President of the European Gymnastics Union Georges Guelzec acclaimed Bulgarian’s positive approach towards gymnastics.

The President pointed out that the attribution of these European Championships in Women’s and Men’s Artistic Gymnastics for juniors and seniors, held between May 15 and 25, was a guarantee for a successful organization.

The Prime Minister assured that within the existing potential, the government will support not only gymnastics but will strive after the idea to build up-to-date sports facilities in order to bring young people back to sports and develop mass sports in the country.
