Five Medals, Four Golds: Polina Dmitrieva’s Golden Week

Busy schedule on this second and last day of finals! The juniors are the first to take to the arena. The gymnasts qualified for the Vault final are the first to compete. It was an opportunity for Romania’s Aniela Tudor to take the top spot on the podium with a score of 13.383. Daria Mironova (13.166) and Lilou Marliac (13.133) completed the podium, taking silver and bronze respectively.

The finals continued with the Uneven Bars. Polina Dmitrieva took the lead with a score of 13.900, followed by her compatriot Aleksandra Andrianova (13.666). Clarissa Rinaldi from Italy, qualified in the four finals, claimed the bronze medal (13.533).

Polina Dmitrieva delivered a strong routine on the beam, earning a score of 13.900 and the gold medal. France’s Lilou Marliac took the second step of the podium with 13.166, while Great Britain’s Elisabetta Cardelli secured the bronze medal with 12.833.

Polina Dmitrieva once again dominated the competition with a flawless routine during the floor final. She claimed the gold medal with a score of 13.233. She will leave Zagreb with a total of five medals, including four gold medals won in the individual and team competitions. Aleksandra Andrianova took silver, while Clarissa Rinaldi once again secured the bronze medal, bringing the junior finals to a close.
