Meet our cheeky mascot Luigi!

Born at the 2015 Congress in Bratislava (SVK), this lucky monkey spent his first year on earth travelling with the Belgian gymnastics team. The highlight definitely being the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro!

In 2017 Luigi returned to the European Gymnastics head office in Lausanne. He travels with the staff to all events where he catches up with his many friends and supports all these amazing gymnasts!

With all this success, it was time for Luigi to come to life! Starting in 2019, a real-life Luigi entertains the crowd -and the gymnasts- at our European Championships ….
