2020 Artistic Europeans confirmed for Baku (men) and Paris (women)

On the occasion of the Rhythmic Europeans, UEG President Georges Guelzec signed the contracts for the 2020 Artistic Europeans.

James Blateau, President of the French Gymnastics Federation, signed the contract on behalf of Paris 2020 where the women’s artistic European Championships for juniors and seniors will be held. The dates have now been confirmed: 30 April – 3 May! The venue will be the Accorhotels Arena in Bercy, a hall well-known in the gymnastics world as it hosted the 2000 Europeans and the French Internationals for many years.  

 

The men’s event will be held in Baku’s National Gymnastics Arena, site of the 2015 European Games, from 27 to 31 May 2020. Secretary-General of the Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation Farid Gayibov put his signature and is looking for to this fantastic opportunity.

Good to know: for the first time ever, the European Championships are included in the Olympic qualification process!
