8 nations on junior podium at #AeroPesaro2021

The Vitrifrigo Arena hosted the junior finals this morning. Pesaro set a beautiful stage for the finalists competing in the 6 finals.

In Individual Women, Maelys Lenclos (FRA) performed a gorgeous routine to beat top qualifier Lola Lawrence (GBR) by 2 tenths with Lucrezia Rexhepi (ITA) clinching the bronze medal.

Italy’s success story continued with Andrea Colnago easily winning the Individual Men’s title. Russia’s Danila Kudinov and Kirill Klimov joined him on the podium.

The mixed pair of Bulgaria, Hristo Manolov and Borislava Ivanova, held on to their top position, posting 20.300 for the victory. Portugal and Romania both scores 20.000. The tie break rules put Tania Almeida and Luis Rosas (POR) in the silver medal position while Alexandra-Daria Mihaiu and Darius Branda (ROU) took the bronze.

Polina Popova, Elizaveta Shevchenko and Polina Kakkoeva were victorious in the trio final. The battle for silver and bronze between the two Romanian trios. Both posted the same difficulty, so execution and artistry decided. Silver for Madalin Boldea, Vladut Popa and Vlad Siminea and bronze for their teammates Claudia Gheorghe, Claudia Ristea and Leonard Manta.

In groups, Russia beat Romania with a tie breaker. The 5 ladies representing Great Britain earned their country’s second medal of the day, finishing in third place.  

The last final was the right one for Romania, claiming gold in Aero Dance after amassing several silver and bronze medals. Russia claimed another medal, silver this time, and Hungary won its first medal of these junior finals, the bronze.
