Bali continues success at Suzuki World Cup

European Champion Daniel Bali, the winner of three gold medals at last month’s World Cup, added two more titles to his collection last weekend in Japan. He won the mixed pair final with Fanni Mazacs and the trio final with both Mazacs and Balasz Farkas. In the individual competition he placed second behind Mexico’s Ivan Veloz after a tie-breaker had to separate their score of 22.500.

Russians Ekaterina Pykhtova and Anastasia Ziubina placed second and third in the individual women’s competitions and teamed up with Elena Ivanova to claim the silver in the trio final.

Japan’s Riri Kitazume delighted the home crowd by winning the individual title while Vietnam clinched the gold for their group performance.
