Belarus best at Trampoline World Cup in Baku

Reigning Olympic Champion Ivan Litvinovich (BLR) won both the individual gold medal, as well as the synchronised title with teammate Andrei Builou (BLR), the silver medallist in the individual final.

The Russian pair Kirill Kozlov and Danila Kasimov clinched the silver in synchro ahead of Portugal’s Diogo Abreu and Pedro Ferreira.

The women’s individual final was won by 26-year-old Irina Kundius of the Russian Federation while her teammate, the 2021 European Champion Iana Lebedeva fell out of contention. Local gymnast and Azerbaijan’s pride Seljan Mahsudova earned the silver medal while Italy’s Giorgia Giampieri claimed bronze in her first senior competition.

 

In the women’s synchronised final, Sena Elcin Karakas and Sila Karakus (TUR) secured the gold medal. The Swedish duo Lina Sjoeberg and Thea Liljeroth took the silver medal ahead of Russians Meri Golota and Aleksandra Bonartseva.
