Clarification of the ages for Trampoline and TeamGym Europeans

Due to Covid-19, the 2020 TeamGym and Trampoline Europeans are postponed to 2021.

The Executive Committee of European Gymnastics decided the following age rules:

1° European Championships in TeamGym

As an exception, the age limits for the rescheduled event in 2021 will be:

• Juniors 13 – 18 (born 2003 – 2008)
• Seniors 16+

 

This means that juniors who turn 17 in 2020 will have the option to compete as juniors or seniors in April 2021. Gymnasts may only compete in one team at the combined Junior / Senior Championships.

 

2° European Championships in Trampoline, Tumbling and Double Mini-Trampoline

The age categories will follow the rules stipulated in the FIG’s Technical regulations for 2021.
