Decisions of the Executive Committee - February 2025

In the first meeting of 2025, held at the Lausanne (SUI) headquarters on Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 February, the Executive Committee of European Gymnastics, led by President Farid Gayibov (AZE), made the following official decisions:

• The 2026 European Championships in Men’s and Women’s Artistic Gymnastics have been awarded to Zagreb (CRO). These events will be held  in August 2026. The exact dates will be communicated in the near future.
• The Honorary Judges were approved, pending FIG confirmation. The list will be published on our website.
• Membership fee and entry fees for member Federation Ukraine have been waived for 2025, as done since 2022.
• All European Gymnastics member federations will be invited to a forum to discuss governance structure. This invitation will be send out shortly.
• Updates for the Accreditation Rules 2025 have been approved. The revised document will be published shortly, and will become valid immediately.
• The distribution of the 2025 Develop Programme apparatus donations and project funding was decided.
• The budget 2025 was approved.
• The Under 21 (U21) category has been added in Trampoline Gymnastics. This will be incorporated into the existing schedule of the European Championships in Trampoline, Tumbling and Double Mini-Trampoline, starting with the 2026 edition.
• The TeamGym Technical Committee got the mandate to finalise the 2025 – 2028 TeamGym Code of Points. Publication is planned for late March.
• A call for hosts is open for the following European Gymnastics events: 2026 European Championships in Rhythmic and Trampoline Gymnastics, the 2027 European Championships in Rhythmic Gymnastics, the 2027 European Age Group Competitions and European Championships in Acrobatic Gymnastics, the 2027 U15 and European Championships in Aerobic Gymnastics, the 2028 European Championships in Artistic, Rhythmic and Trampoline Gymnastics, the 2028 European Gym for Life Challenge, 2028  EUROGYM and the 2028 Golden Age Gym Festival.

The next Executive Committee meeting will be held in Lausanne (SUI) on 21 and 22 June 2025.
