On Friday 6 and Saturday 7 September, the Executive Committee of European Gymnastics, led by President Farid Gayibov (AZE), met in Budapest for its third meeting of the year, taking the following official decisions:
- The Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation will host the 2025 European Under 15 Competition and European Championships in Aerobic Gymnastics. The Under 15 will be held from 9 to 11 November, followed by the Europeans from 14 to 16 November 2025, in the city of Ganja (AZE).
- The 2026 European Championships in TeamGym were allocated to the Finnish town of Espoo. The event will take place from 14 to 17 October 2026.
- The 2025 Technical Regulations were approved. These will be published on the European Gymnastics website soon.
- The 2024 Medical Regulations were approved. These will be published on the European Gymnastics website soon.
- A call for hosts is open for the following European Gymnastics events: 2026 European Championships in Rhythmic and Trampoline Gymnastics, 2027 European Championships in Rhythmic Gymnastics and the 2027 European Age Group Competitions and European Championships in Acrobatic and Aerobic Gymnastics, and the 2028 European Championships in Men’s and Women’s Artistic Gymnastics.
The next Executive Committee meeting will be held in Lausanne (SUI) on 14 and 15 February 2025.
