Decisions of the General Assembly

On 15 and 16 November, representatives of the member Federations of the European Union of Gymnastics (UEG) met for the biennial General Assembly. 47 of the 50 National Federations attended. The debates have resulted in the following official decisions and information:

  • The minutes of the 2017 General Assembly in Split (CRO) were approved.
  • The name change to European Gymnastics has been approved. This change will come into place on 1st April 2020.
  • Changes to the statutes were approved. The updated statues will be published on the UEG website shortly.
  • The reports of the Technical Committee Presidents and the Medical Commission were approved.
  • The financial reports for 2017 and 2018 were approved. As were the provisional accounts of 2019 and the budget for 2020.
  • Three former UEG authorities were honoured for the dedicated service: Malin Eggertz Forsmark (SWE) as Honorary Vice-President and Galina Kovalchuk (UKR) and Jacky Wischnia (ISR) as Honorary Members of the UEG. Congratulations!

 

The next General Assembly will be hosted by the Portuguese Gymnastics Federation in Albufeira in December 2021.
