After a break of a couple of months, the World Cup series continued in Rhythmic Gymnastics. First stop on the Challenge circuit: Minsk!
The world’s best gymnasts travelled to Belarus, ensuring a high-level competition. Russian twins Dina and Arina Averina clinched gold and silver in the all-around respectively, with Israeli Linoy Ashram in third place. In the apparatus finals Dina added three more gold medals but Ashram managed to prevent a clean sweep by winning the hoop title. Arina collected three more silver medals and 1 bronze while Italy’s Milena Baldassarri returned home with the bronze medal for her ribbon routine.
In the group competition, three different winners were crowned: Russia in the all-around, Italy with 5 balls and Bulgaria for their 3 + 2 performance! The home team, Belarus, won the bronze medal in the all-around and silver with 3 + 2.
