Edoardo De Rosa (ITA) and Radomyr Stelmakh (UKR) win MAG online test event

On Saturday, European Gymnastics partnered with Elevien to organise an online test event in Men’s Artistic Gymnastics.

Participants could register to compete on pommel horse, parallel bars and / or horizontal bar. From the comfort of their home gym, the athletes had 1 go to record their performance in the Elevien app, showing a unique code at the beginning. Their routines were evaluated by Europe’s finest judges, led by members of the European Gymnastics Men’s Technical Committee.

The highest score of the day came on pommel horse, courtesy of Italian rising star Edoardo De Rosa who posted an excellent 14.900 (D-score of 6.5). The 2018 junior European Champion beat 2022 Vice-European Champion Loran de Munck of the Netherlands, with Andrea Canazza (ITA) in third place.

On parallel bars, De Rosa clashed with another junior stand-out, Ukraine’s Radomyr Stelmakh. Both scored 13.966 so the higher execution score awarded the title here too to De Rosa. Dagur Kari Olafsson of Iceland clinched third place.

Stelmakh earned a title of his own when he outclassed the field on horizontal bar. Scoring 13.66 with a 5.8 difficulty score, Stelmakh easily beat Ivan Brunello (ITA) and Artem Dolgopyat (ISR).

The winners receive a cash prize of € 400, second place gets € 200 and third place € 100. Congratulations!
