It’s with infinite sadness the European Gymnastics community learned of the passing of one of its founding members, Mr. François Muller, on 14 February at the age of 94 in Luxembourg City.
Franz, as he used to be called, was one of the few still living pioneers of the European Union of Gymnastics (UEG). One of the founding members, he also was the first President of the Control Authority (from 1982 to 2001) at European Gymnastics, a former Vice-President of the Fédération Luxembourgeoise de Gymnastique and an international Judge in artistic gymnastics.
François will be greatly missed for his jovial character and knowledge about European Gymnastics in detail and Gymnastics in general.
