On the last day of the 2025 European Championships in Acrobatic Gymnastics, the junior gymnasts took to the stage to perform in the third and last final of the competition. The Women’s Pairs, Men’s Pairs and Men’s Group competed their Dynamic routine while the Women’s Groups and Mixed Pairs showed off their Balance routine.
After success in the all-around final yesterday, Great Britain’s Abi Read and Evie Jaggers once again blew the field away. With a score of 28.010, they easily secured their second title ahead of Portugal’s Joana Silva and Sofia Ferreira. Having already pocketed two bronze medals, Sofia D'Errico and Camilla Poerio successfully managed a hattrick, making the Italian supporters proud.
In the Women’s Group Balance final, Belgium earned its first junior title of the event, courtesy of Ona D'Haeyer, Farah Dhouidah and Lotte Van Overmeeren. Israel’s Noa Yifrah, Noam Ronen and Romi Tal edged Maria Amorim, Catarina Santos and Maria Correia from Portugal for the silver medal.
A hattrick also for Israeli men’s pair Ran Aviv and Jonathan Markovich who confidently grabbed their third gold medal here at the Coque Arena. Samuel Austin and Archie Pickles (GBR) and Hlib Honcharuk and Artem Shapoval (UKR) both scored 26.700. As tie break rules are in place the silver went to Great Britain thanks to having a higher combined execution and artistry score. More success for Israel, and also a golden hattrick, for their mixed pair Noy Cohen and Yannay Regev in an extremely close battle with Great Britain’s Harry Norman and Emily Eales. A mere 0.010 separated the two talented duos. Bronze went to Bulgaria, in name of Kristian Manolov and Viliana Kostadinova.
Their confidence boosted after yesterday’s all-around victory, Tomas Martinho, Jorge Silva, Gabriel Vilela and Joao Samico displayed a fun, energetic and crowdpleasing dynamic routine for their second gold medal in as many days for Portugal. Israel’s Mark Borodin, Oskar Borodin, Erel Paz and Yehonathan Joseph secured the silver ahead of Ukraine’s Mykolai Khasanov, Mykola Soroka, Dmytro Borshchevskyi and Volodymyr Repetii.
Congratulations to the medallists!
