Dear friends
What a pleasure it was to see so many smiling faces on the shores of Lake Neuchatel to celebrate the third edition of the European Gym for Life Challenge and the 13th EUROGYM!
In this stunning setting, more than 3.000 gymnasts from all over Europe enjoyed a week full of workshops, performances and social activities. Throughout the town of Neuchatel, the locals saw youngsters doing handstands, forming pyramids and somersaulting into the lake. There truly is no better advertising for our beautiful sport.
I’d like to take this opportunity to warmly thank the Local Organising Committee led by its President Christian Blandenier for a fantastic week in Neuchatel, my Technical Committee for the hard work and the many volunteers that gave their time and effort to ensure the ‘week of a lifetime’ to the 3.000 participants!
Basking in pride thanks to the success of these events, we’re pleased also to look forward to the Golden Age Gym Festival in Funchal on the stunning Portuguese island of Madeira. And we’re planning some webinars and the relaunch of our Mentor Programme. Read all about it below …
A grand total of 861 gymnasts represented 30 groups from 13 countries at the 3rd edition of the European Gym for Life Challenge.
