Nikolova, Onofriichuk, Raffaeli and Varfolomeev headline #Varna2026

With one month to go, we now know who will compete in the Bulgarian coastal resort of Varna at the 2026 European Championships in Rhythmic Gymnastics!

The hopes of the home nation rely on superstar Stiliana Nikolova and Eva Brezalieva while the international community is eager to see them battle with the defending European all-around Champion Taisiia Onofriichuk (UKR), World and Olympic Champion Darja Varfolomeev (GER) and Italian grand lady Sofia Raffaeli. Add to that, the challenge presented by Tara Dragas (ITA), the Romanian duo Amalia Lica and Andreea Verdes, Fanni Pigniczki (HUN), Meital Maayan Sumkin (ISR), Liliana Lewinska (POL), Hatice Gokce Emir (TUR) and several other up-and-coming talents, the competition promises to be thrilling!

On the programme this edition … senior individuals, senior groups and junior individuals! 43 countries will be represented by a grand total of 372 gymnasts: 260 seniors, including 26 groups, and 112 juniors.
