Onofriichuk, Munits and Pigniczki headliners at Baku European Cup

A total of 20 nations will be represented at the first European Cup in Rhythmic Gymnastics of this year, to be held from 1 to 4 May in the Azerbaijani capital Baku.

66 senior and 83 junior gymnasts are scheduled to compete. We’re looking forward to seeing the impressive skills of Ukraine’s Taisiia Onofriichuk and Polina Karika, Israel’s Daniela Munits and Lian Rona, Hungary’s Fanni Pigniczki and Hanna Panna Wiesner, Poland’s Liliana Lewinska, Bulgaria’s Dara Stoyanova and Dara Malinova and many others. The host nation Azerbaijan will be represented by Zahra Jafarova and Govhar Ibrahimova!

In the senior group competition Azerbaijan will take on 2020 Olympic Champions Bulgaria, Estonia, Georgia, 2024 Vice-Olympic Champions Israel and Ukraine in an exciting battle.

For senior individuals and groups, exciting Cross Battles will determine the All-Around medallists. This comes with substantial prize money: the winner of the individual Cross Battles gets € 6000, while the silver medallist earns € 4000 and the bronze medallist €2500. The winning group will receive € 10000. The silver medallists will get € 6000 and the bronze medallists € 4000.
