Presidential exchange ahead of Executive Committee meeting

As the new Executive Committee members of European Gymnastics travelled to the headquarters in Lausanne for their first meeting of the new cycle, President Dr. Farid Gayibov accepted an invitation by World Gymnastics President Morinari Watanabe.

The two leaders shared insights and ideas as they toured the head office of World Gymnastics, the international governing body for gymnastics, focusing on the strong ties between the two federations.

“Cooperation between European Gymnastics and World Gymnastics is essential for the greater good of our sport. We work tirelessly towards the same goals: education, safeguarding, development and producing exciting competition formats. Together, we stand strong in a fast-changing global environment”, Gayibov commented.
