It’s European Cup time! From Thursday to Sunday, the European Cup in Rhythmic Gymnastics will be held in the Azerbaijani capital Baku. A total of 32 nations will be represented by 135 senior and 62 junior gymnasts.
Focus of this event will be on the thrilling ‘Cross Battles’, a unique and exciting competition format which sees gymnasts competing directly against each other to reach to next round. Typical for the European Cup, cross battles will determine the all-around Champion for senior individuals and groups. New this year, the junior team title will also be contested in a cross battle format!

Who to watch?
With prominent names like reigning European all-around Champion Taisiia Onofriichuk (UKR), Olympic bronze medallist and 2025 Baku European Cup winner Sofia Raffaeli and teammate Tara Dragas (ITA), Vera Tugolukova (CYP), Kseniya Zhyzhych (POL), Daniela Munits (ISR), Andreea Verdes and Amalia Lica (ROU), Fanni Pigniczki (HUN) and Hatice Gokce Emir (TUR), the competition promises to be thrilling. In groups, the host nation Azerbaijan will take on a strong challenge from -amongst others- Bulgaria, Israel, Italy and Ukraine.
