In the evening of the second day at the 2026 European Championships in Rhythmic Gymnastics, the junior individual gymnasts battled it out for continental glory in the apparatus finals.
The competition delivered impressive performances and a high level of execution throughout the evening.
Among the standout results, Bulgaria’s Siyana Alekova claimed gold in the hoop final, while Belarusian gymnast Kira Babkevich topped the podium with the ball. Georgia’s Nita Jamagidze secured the title in clubs, and Russian’s Iana Zaikina finished first in the ribbon final. Meanwhile, the German gymnast Melissa Diete claimed two silver and bronze medals in the ball and ribbon events.
These junior finals wrapped up an intense day of competition ahead of the continuation of the European Championships with the senior individual qualifications in clubs and ribbon.
