In a stacked Saturday of apparatus action in Baku, Cross Battle positions were determined while apparatus medals were awarded at the 2026 European Cup.
Daniela Munits and Mariia Borisova took the top spots in the clubs and ribbon apparatus events respectively in a busy few hours of competition in Baku.
Munits – who won European Championship gold in 2024 – collected another gold for the collection with a 28.650, finishing ahead of Darya Viarenich and Sofia Raffaeli.
With the ribbon, Borisova recorded the top score of the day with 28.800. Borisova’s gold was followed by Taisiia Onofriichuk in silver and Tara Dragas in bronze. For those two, they recorded the top All-Around results across the apparatus’. Onofriichuk scored 113.400, Dragas just behind with 111.350.

After individuals, it was the long awaited turn of the groups to leave Baku spellbound. They certainly didn’t disappoint. With 14 groups in action including Italy and Bulgaria, the level was inevitably high.
With the 5x Balls, Israel came out on top with a 26.400, ahead of AIN1 and Italy, while it was AIN 2 who won with the hoops and clubs, 27.250 the winning total. AIN1 and Ukraine made it onto the podium too.
