UEG and SmartScoring extend cooperation until the end of 2021

UEG President Farid Gayibov and SmartScoring CEO Yusif Rzayev met in Baku (AZE) last week to sign the prolongation of their cooperation. The new contract will run till the end of 2021, ensuring consistency and the possibility to work on long-term projects together.

Newly appointed CEO of SmartScoring Yusif Rzayev stated: “The cooperation with UEG has allowed us to gain valuable experience in the different gymnastics disciplines and sports operations. We wish to continue along the same path, creating synergies between our two companies that put gymnastics in the spotlight where it belongs.”

UEG President Farid Gayibov added: “After two years of excellent cooperation, we thought it was time to go to the next level and sign a long-term partnership. The bond between UEG and SmartScoring surpasses the scoring level, with projects in delegations’ registration, live streaming and sports presentation firmly establishing a true global partnership. I am pleased to shake hands today with SmartScoring, for the future of European Gymnastics.”

The global partnership between UEG and SmartScoring started in 2017 and provides the Local Organising Committees of all European Championships with a results service and live stream facilities.
