The deadline for Federations to nominate their participants for the upcoming European Championships in Acrobatic Gymnastics has now passed.
A total of 20 countries will be represented 262 gymnasts. In the junior competition, 134 gymnasts are registered (11 women’s pairs, 5 men’s pairs, 13 mixed pairs, 20 women’s groups and 4 men’s groups) while the senior category welcomes 128 participants in 7 women’s pairs, 8 men’s pairs, 11 mixed pairs, 16 women’s groups and 7 men’s groups.
We are pleased to announce that all recently crowned World Champions will compete for continental glory in Pesaro: Rita Ferreira & Rita Teixeira (POR), Timofei Ivanov & Maksim Karavaev (RUS), Viktoria Aksenova & Kirill Startsev (RUS), Daria Chebulanka, Sofia Polishchuk & Daria Tikhomirova (RUS) and Viktor Grechukhin, Bogdan Makeev, Vadim Nabiev & Dmitrii Slabukha (RUS). Other medallists on the roster include Daniel Blintsov & Pia Schuetze (GER), Diana Korotaeva & Amina Omari (RUS), Hen Banuz, Lior Borodin, Amir Daus & Tomer Offir (ISR), Stanislav Kukurudz, Yurii Push, Yuriy Savka & Taras Yarush (UKR), Kim Bergmans, Liese De Meyst & Bo Hollebosch (BEL) and Barbara Sequiera, Francisca Maia & Francisca Maia (POR).
These 2019 junior European Champions will now compete on the senior stage: Sam Large and Sammi Nassman (GBR), Murad Rafiyev & Daniel Abbasov (AZE), Maayan Zunenshine & Almog Green (ISR), Viktoriya Akhotnikava & Ilya Famenkou (BLR) and Meshi Hurvitz & Inbal Zeitounei (ISR) with Yarin Ovadia replacing Nikol Aleinik.
